WakeAndGo Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-17
Draft — not ready for publication
Sections marked below are placeholders that have not been verified against how the app actually behaves. Complete them before submitting this app to Google Play. An inaccurate privacy policy is a legal and policy risk.
This policy explains how WakeAndGo handles your information. WakeAndGo works without an account, and your settings are stored on your device.
Information we collect
WakeAndGo does not require you to create an account or sign in, and we do not ask for personal details such as your name, email address, or phone number.
The settings you create — alarm times, selected days, the app you choose to launch, the image you select, and the web link you enter — are stored on your device.
How your information is used
Your settings are used solely to make the app function as you configured it: to trigger alarms at the times you chose and perform the action you selected.
Permissions
WakeAndGo declares the following Android permissions, used to deliver alarms reliably:
- Exact alarms — to trigger an alarm at the precise time you set
- Notifications — to show the alarm when it fires
- Full-screen intent — to show the alarm over the lock screen
- Foreground service, including media playback — to keep the alarm running and play its sound
- Wake lock — to wake the device when an alarm fires
- Vibrate — for alarm vibration
- Run at startup — to restore your scheduled alarms after the device restarts
Data sharing and third parties
TODO — VERIFY BEFORE PUBLISHING. Confirm whether the app includes any analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDK. If it includes none, state that explicitly. If it includes any, name each one and link to its privacy policy. Check the app's Gradle dependencies before completing this section.
Data retention and deletion
Because settings are stored on your device, uninstalling the app removes them. You can also clear the app data from your device settings at any time.
Children's privacy
TODO — VERIFY BEFORE PUBLISHING. Confirm the intended audience and state the appropriate position. This must match the target audience you declare in the Google Play Console.
Contact
TODO — VERIFY BEFORE PUBLISHING. Add a working support contact once a support address is live. Do not publish a contact method that does not exist.
